Monrovia, Liberia, March 20, 2024 – The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) wishes to inform the esteemed NGO community in Liberia of ongoing technical issues with the NGO Online Accreditation Platform. The Ministry assures all stakeholders that necessary measures are being taken to address these challenges promptly.

The online accreditation platform, which facilitates the accreditation process for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Liberia, is encountering some technical issues. As a result, online applications for accreditation have been temporarily suspended.

The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning recognizes the critical importance of a functional and efficient accreditation process for NGOs in Liberia. Therefore, immediate action is being taken to resolve the technical problem and restore the online application system to full functionality.

We are pleased to announce that the Ministry anticipates the online application for NGO accreditation to resume effectively on May 1, 2024. This date has been set to ensure that all necessary adjustments and improvements are made to the platform, guaranteeing a smooth and seamless experience for all applicants.

In the meantime, NGOs are encouraged to continue applying using the manual process through the NGO Coordination Unit as the Ministry works to resolve the problem.

The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning extends its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by the temporary suspension of the online accreditation platform. We remain committed to supporting the vital work of NGOs in Liberia and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
