Monrovia, Liberia - The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, is committed to transparency and accountability by publishing internal and external development assistance programs and projects for the first time on the Liberia Project Dashboard.
The Liberia Project Dashboard is an aid information management system that is used to collect, analyze, and report information about external assistance programs and projects. It is a flagship indicator of a new era of aid management in Liberia. The loading of public sector investment programs Information on the dashboard further confirms the overall commitment of the Liberian government to transparency, accountability, and total openness.
The aid information management system utilization will promote transparency and accountability in the development and implementation of aid programs and projects. Making remarks at the first publication of government projects and programs on the dashboard, Deputy Minister for Economic Management, Hon. Dehpue Zuo, noted that the information loaded on electronic platforms are all government ongoing or completed projects of internal and external development assistance programs.
According to him, the first publication for today shows the government commitment to transparency and accountability by informing the Liberian people across the country on how projects and programs are implemented. “We want you to know how government money is collected and spent for development purposes across the country, Minister Zuo explains.
