The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP) has seen a very disturbing video circulating on social media involving one of its employees physically assaulting another person.
The Ministry’s initial investigation established that the incident occurred last year 2024, and the matter is currently before the Court.
The Ministry’s Legal and HR Units are currently reviewing all internal policies, including the Civil Service Standing Orders and will inform the public regarding the next steps in keeping with Chapter 4, Section 2 of the Civil Service Standing Orders.
The Ministry encourages all of its employees to refrain from such behaviour as it undermines the integrity of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
