The European Union Budget Support Validation meeting was held today at the 2nd floor conference room, at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
Speaking at the Opening of the Meeting, Deputy Minister for Economic Management, Hon. Dehpue Zuo acknowledged the European Union role in the country. Budget through grants that directly impact the economy and people across Liberia.
Minister Zuo encouraged other partners to support Liberia, especially in the wake of USAID Aid cuts to Liberia.
He challenges Ministries Agencies and Commissions responsible for activities meeting the trackers for European Union Budget support to be more robust, timely in collecting data to meet targets.
Hon.Zuo asked European Ambassadors to align their activities to the National Development Plan, the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
