Finance and Development Planning Minister, Honorable Boima Kamara has called on citizens of Foya District, Lofa County to participate fully in the African Peer Review Mechanism Report scheduled for June 2017. He told citizens of Foya it is important for them to have a say in the decision-making process.

The two-day exercise takes place at the Cape Hotel located in Mamba Point. The conference starts Friday, December 16 and concludes Saturday, December 17.

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has approved and signed into law the National Budget for the 2016/2017 fiscal year, which runs from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017, in the amount of Six Hundred Million Two Hundred and Four Thousand and Seventy Six United States Dollars (US$600,204,076.00), the same being Fifty Seven Billion Three Hundred Nineteen Million Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Seven Liberian Dollars (L$57,319,450,867).

Monrovia, Liberia - The Governments of Liberia and the Chinese EXIM Bank have signed a landmark loan agreement to refurbish the runway and the Terminal of the Robert International Airport (RIA) project in the amount of US $50 million dollars.
