Ministry of Finance & Development Planning Authorities Extol Samuel D. Tweah
Monrovia, Liberia - Authorities at the Ministry of Finance & Development Planning (MFDP) wish to congratulate Mr. Samuel D. Tweah for his recent appointment by the African Development Bank (AfDB) to serve as a Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors.
The MFDP’s authorities indicated in a release that the Government of Liberia remains confident that Mr. Tweah will not only add value to the work of the African Development Bank, but will also raise the profile of Liberians and further seek Liberia’s interest while at the Bank.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Tweah who served as Senior Economist on the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Liberia Compact Team was nominated by the Government of Liberia based on his previous work experience and his academic credentials.
According to the MFDP release, Mr. Tweah who will be resident in Abidjan, the Ivory Coast is expected to occupy the position of Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank for three (3) years.
