MFDP July 26, Independence Message

The Minister, Deputy and Assistant Ministers and Staff of the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning wish, on this festive occasion of the 172nd Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Liberia, to extend sincere Congratulations and Felicitations to His Excellency the President of Liberia, Dr. George Manneh Weah, the First Lady, Madam Clar M.Weah, the Vice President , Her Excellency Madam Jewel Howard Taylor, the Speaker and Members of the Honorable House of Representatives, the President Pro-Tempore and Members of the Senate, the Chief Justice, Associate Justices of the Supreme Court of Liberia and the Judiciary, the Dean and Members of the Cabinet, the Chairpersons and members of the Boards of Directors of the State–Owned Enterprises and the entire people of the Republic of Liberia.

We at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning pledge to continue leading our country in this most vital sector and help to enhance the economic and social development of Liberia.

We pray that Almighty God continues to bless you, Mr. President, with wisdom, strength, fortitude and stamina to do the great work he has called you to do as Head of our beloved country, and lead you to do all in your powers to continue providing your insightful leadership in confronting and accomplishing the total eradication of poverty in Liberia.

As we mark the observance of this historic event in the existence of our dear nation, we at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning also assure you of our fullest support and pledge our faithful efforts and resolve towards the success of your leadership which has continued to demonstrate the unparalleled commitment to uplift the lives of our people from poverty to prosperity.
