Government of Liberia (GoL) Develops Digital Survey Platform to Solicit Liberian Diaspora’s Inputs into the Formulation of the new National Development Plan - The ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

Monrovia, Liberia - The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, has partnered with Subah-Belleh Associates, a local Liberian firm to develop a five-year development plan referred to as the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).

The Consultations for the formulation of the National Development Plan was launched by the President, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai on July 18, 2024 at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town. Subsequently, national and sub-national level consultations were held across all counties with all key stakeholders. A national Sectoral Engagement technical exercise was also launched in gathering the views of all sectors actors. 
 
However, in order to ensure more inclusive participation, the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning in partnership with Subah-Belleh Associates (SBA) has created a platform through which the inputs of the Liberian diaspora can be captured.
