The Integrated Financial Management Information System {IFMIS} is headed by a Lead person who is assisted by Financial Management Officers. As the Government of Liberia automates her budget formulation, execution and reporting, several line ministries and agencies have been put on line. This implies that these entities can now process their payment on the system without coming to the Ministry of Finance Development planning.
The IFMIS unit oversees/manages the system on which these transactions are being processed. IFMIS as a unit carry out the following:
- Provide technical support to those online ministries and agencies such as training;
- Assign technical/support team to M/As
- Maintain a help desk to provide solution where M&As may have queries
