The Financial Reporting & Reconciliation Unit {FRRU} is headed by a Director who is assisted by two Assistant Directors. The major functions of the unit include but not limited to the following:
Ensures the preparation of quarterly and annual Consolidated Financial Statements as required by the PFM Act and Regulations;
- Conduct daily reconciliation of CBL statements of the various GoL Accounts;
- Provide technical support to comptrollers, finance officers and accountants of the various line ministries and agencies as it relates to financial reporting using the Cash basis IPSAS as adopted by the Government of Liberia;
- Ensure the accountability and transparency in government financial management through regular financial reporting
